
If you don't read the blurb on the link above, this piece could effectively be interpreted any number of powerful and effective ways. It could be a political statement about the influence guns have in our local and national dialogue, or maybe a statement about the power of libelous or defamatory words to destroy. Even after reading the blurb, where one understands that it a play on the nature of the apostrophe, knocking off letters, in an art piece commissioned by a paper company, it is still incredibly attention grabbing, and a particularly witty, playful use of typography to paint a bigger picture.
